Medical Astrology is a counseling and diagnostic tool that combines a knowledge of astrology with medicine to provide clients with:
1. Information that can help identify potential weak areas in a chart that might become "trigger points" for disease
2. Make recommendations about possible diagnostic tests that might be employed by a physician
3. Provide back-up for diagnostic tests
4. Make recommendations about nutritional and alternative therapies based on chart analysis, and
5. Pinpoint psychological, social, emotional, and genetic causes of disease.

YAOUNDE OLU, Ph.D.
Dr. Yaounde Olu has practiced astrology and studied alternative therapies for many years. She earned a doctorate in Holistic Medicine from the Union Institute (1994) and studied Medical Astrology and homeopathy with the renowned Medical Astrologer, Eileen Nauman. She also attended the Chicago National College of Naprapathy where she was awarded an honorary doctorate in Naprapathy. In addition, she has a B.S. in Education from Illinois Teachers College-Chicago South, and an M.A. in Art from Governors State University in University Park, Il. She has earned certificates in publishing from the University of Chicago's Publishing Program and is a member of the National Council for Geocosmic Research (NCGR) and is Level III certified. In addition to work as an astrologer, Dr. Olu is an award winning editorial cartoonist, educator, researcher and accomplished musician. She resides in Chicago, IL.
